Eros XXIV - Ruffles
This work nearing the end of the series called upon the quality of my paper to playfully guide my colours and brush into a whirl of abstract beauty. Nonetheless, an iris.
The collection began accidentally with water flowing from big brushes loosely onto hitherto uncharted rough paper.
Shall we call it my ‘moody blues’ period was launched with a sense of fun and abstraction with the Iris as muse.
Eros reflects the inherent passion and freedom of my work using a floral symbol from Greek mythology.
